Poolside Oceanview Deluxe room

• Spacious poolside rooms with ocean views, equipped with one king size bed or two twin size beds. Furnished private balcony or patio, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, coffee maker, direct dial telephone, in-room safe, iron & ironing board, cable TV, some units with large refrigerator, microwave oven and stove top. 360 sq ft.
• Maximum occupancy: 2 adults or 2 adults and 1 child on a rollaway bed. Interconnecting rooms available for families or groups travelling together.

Hillside Oceanview Room

• Set on hillside approximately 100 yards from the beach. These cozy guestrooms are tastefully decorated with designer tropical furnishings and have balconies or decks with oceanviews. Rooms have one king bed and can accommodate two guests.

Hillside Oceanview Deluxe

• Spacious rooms with breathtaking oceanviews from your private balcony or large covered deck, located on the hillside approximately 75 yards from the beach.
• These tastefully furnished rooms offer king-size beds and refined luxuries such as marble vanities. Connecting rooms are available for families. Maximum occupancy 2 adults.

Beachfront Cabana

• Located on the waters edge, these rustic accommodations are built on stilts between the palm trees, affording magnificent views and seclusion.
• Each Cabana has a king-size bed, ceiling fan, wet bar, marble vanities, large private deck and hammock. Approximately 270 sq. ft. Maximum occupancy: 2 persons.

Beachfront Deluxe

• These spacious deluxe accommodations sit just yards from the beach. Guestrooms are equipped with either a four-poster king or two queen-sized beds. Ocean views are provided from the large covered, 120 square foot terraces or balconies.
• The Beachfront Deluxe rooms also feature, ceiling fan, and large walk-in closet, separate shower area with marble vanity and dressing area. Some adjoining rooms are available, connected via the balcony. Approximately 360 sq. ft. Maximum occupancy : 4 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.

Blue Water Lair

• Blue Water Lair is a spacious well-appointed home, featuring three large bedrooms - unmistakably Caribbean. Enter through the wrought-iron gate and step into a sunny, tiled courtyard with private pool.
• The main pavilion houses the living room, master suite, kitchen, and dining area.

2 Bedroom Villa

• Approximately 1,320 sq. ft. these 15 2-bedroom villas are set on the hillside. One floor features a hillside oceanview bedroom with a king-size bed, a bathroom with shower and private terrace.
• The other floor features a bedroom with a king-size bed and bathroom with shower, as well as a large living room with a full kitchen and outside deck with dining table and gas grill.

3 Bedroom Villa

• Approximately 1,712 sq. ft. these 11 three-bedroom villas are set on the hillside. Ground floor features a hillside oceanview bedroom with a king-size bed, bathroom with shower, as well as a large living room with a full kitchen and outside deck with dining table and gas grill.
• Top floor features a king-size bed and a wet bar area with fridge, microwave and coffee-maker - corner Jacuzzis also available in some.

Dining

1748

• Delightfully informal, '1748' is a popular beachfront deck restaurant. Part of an 18th-century sugar mill, it offers buffet breakfasts, as well as extensive lunch and dinner menus featuring anything from grills and fresh seafood to tasty local dishes.
• Special weekly events include a 'Barbecue Cook-out' and a 'Taste of Tortola' buffet, both evenings featuring live entertainment.

The Pasta House

• Located on the upper terrace of the 18th-century sugar mill, the Pasta House is an intimate dining venue open for dinner twice a week. It serves traditional Italian cuisine complemented by fine wines and ocean views. Reservations necessary.

The 1748 Beach Bar

• This is where to get an 'Island Fizz' with breakfast, a 'Long Bay Cooler' with lunch or a 'Papaya Daiquiri' with dinner! Happy Hour is held every evening from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
• On Fridays live music and special snacks are offered. (The Beach Bar is openfrom 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. if 1748 or Pasta House restaurants remain open for dinner service.)

Pelican Swim-up Pool Bar

• This popular swim-up pool bar serves tropical drinks and tasty snacks (burgers, sandwiches and salads). Open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. for drinks and serves food from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Palm Terrace Bar

• The Terrace Bar is currently open 6 days per week from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. depending on the occupancy. Amenities include a projection tv screen, pool table, card table, bumper pool table and poker card table. Drinks are served with complimentary peanuts and chips.

Dress Code

• Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas subscribes to a casually elegant dress code. Tailored Bermuda style shorts are allowed at 1748, while long trousers are required for The Pasta House.

• The Pelicatessen is your one-stop resort convenience store. Stock up on everything from snacks, juices, wines, rums, beer, medicines, toiletries and much more! Daily delivery direct to your villa is also available.

Swimming

• In addition to the Aquamarine waters of the Caribbean, Long Bay has a landscaped free form swimming pool with a swim-up bar. A water slide descends into the cool water and sundecks with lounge seating abound.

Diving

• Dive Tortola has a dive shop on the premises. Instruction, certification, excursions and equipment rental are available. Popular Tortola dive sites include Smuggler’s Cove, with two reefs 100 feet from shore, and Brewer’s Bay, rich with tropical marine life. Dive packages are available for stays of five days or longer.

Water sports

• Long Bays mile-long beach is white, powdery, and the perfect spot for water sports. In the summer, the beach provides excellent snorkeling; in the winter, bodysurfing is a popular activity.
• Snorkeling equipment and boogie boards are available. The resort also features a fresh water pool with lovely ocean views.

Tennis at Long Bay

• Long Bay offers two lighted artificial grass courts. There is a nominal charge for court time.

Long Bay Spa Tranquility

• The Spa Tranquility at Long Bay offers a tempting variety of treatments designed to rejuvenate the mind and body.
• Treatments such as Aroma-Steam Jade Facials and Sea Clay body wraps are available.
• All treatments use products by Pevonia Botanica.
• Hair, manicure, and pedicure services are also available.

Fitness Centre

• All guests are free to exercise at the fitness center. The air-conditioned area is equipped with free weights, incline and decline benches, a bench press, treadmills, exercise bicycles and a stair machine.

• The Long Bay Beach Resort Spa Tranquility is open from 9am to 6pm daily. It offers massages, facials, body wraps, body scrubs and reflexology, as well as beauty and hair treatments.
• The large air-conditioned fitness center is offers dumbbell free weights (up to 50 lbs.), incline and decline benches, and bench press. There are an array of stretch mats to allow for pre and post stretching and abdominal work.
• For cardiovascular exercise we have Schwin treadmills, a stairmaster and exercise bicycles.
• Treatments do not need to be booked in advance of your visit to the island, but appointments must be pre-booked at the resort. A fee will be charged for late cancellations. Evening and in-room appointments available by advance notice.

Documentation Required

• Original marriage certificate & valid passports or photo identification.

Date & Time of Ceremony

• While specific requests can be made, Long Bay Resort and Spa cannot guarantee a specific time for the Renewal of Vows ceremony prior to your arrival. Ceremonies are generally performed between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m., but not on weekends or public holidays.

Legal Proceedings Necessary in Tortola

• Prior to the ceremony the couple must visit Tortola's registrar office to purchase $110 of postage stamps to declare residential status and pay a $100 license fee. (These costs are additional costs and are not included in the wedding package).
• Couples need to reside on the island for at least 3 DAYS before the ceremony takes place. It is advised that couples check with the BVI Tourist Office in advance on specific issues such as nationality. The round trip taxi fare of approximately $75 is paid locally, but the resort will arrange for the transfers.
• All of the facilities are offered subject to their availability and at hours that will guarantee you and your guests the most privacy.
