Dive

From Mayan Ruins landside to underwater cenotes (caverns) beneath, the Riviera Maya boasts countless dive sites from wall, to drift diving, and the largest interconnected cenote system of 300+ miles of passageways. The breathtaking cenotes are adorned with stalactites and stalagmites in various colors, and marine fossils. Of the famed cenotes, divers may schedule private excursions to Chac-Mol, Taj Mahal, Dos Ojos, Calavera, Car Wash, and Angelita. Also, the sunken wreck Mama Viña displays teems of barracuda and stingray. 

Deep and shallow dives climbs of Cerebros are inhabited with lobster, squid, and other species; The Arches features rays, and turtles. Expert divers venture 87 feet through Pared Verde. The Gardens is yet another favorite with shallows to 38 feet with a bouquet of coral, sponge, and tubes. And Turtugas in Playa del Carmen is where sea turtles echo in song to fend off predators.

Xcaret Park - An Experience for all Your Senses

Named for the ancient Mayan world for 'Little Inlet', Xcaret was one of the cultures most important ports and a revered ceremonial center. Immerse yourself in tradition, nature, wonder, adventure and beauty in one of the world's most unique and friendly parks. The park offers several optional activities for you to enjoy. The six programs with dolphins are aimed at both adults and children. Snorkel and dive tours are available for beginners and advanced swimmers. Mayan Village River

Glide under cascading waterfalls and between a bamboo forest; and drift through a Mayan Village where artisans weave, carve and paint, and discover the magnificent stained-glass Plaza.

Underground River
Clear and cool, the underground river flows through caverns illuminated by natural skylights, under limestone walls and beautiful fossilized coral formations are that are embedded. The river It surrounds the open-air theater, and occasionally emerges in the midst of deep jungle green.

Night Show Xcaret's spectacular night show is an experience for all visitors: an epic celebration with the sights and sounds of a grand festival, set in Mexico's golden years and the mysticism of ancient Mayan Kings. It features a colorful fair, the drama of the Pre-Hispanic Ballgame, and the Ball of Fire in the impressive Tlachco ball-court.
