Weather and When to Go
Time to decide when the perfect time to travel is for you. The months of July to August are the warmest months of the year in the Bahamas at around 28°, July also being most humid with the most rainfall, closely followed by August and September. Foliage and nature thrive in these month, guaranteeing sunny days with a side of liquid sunshine. January and February are the coolest months of the year but still sit at an average of around 21° with the least annual rainfall. For cooler but drier days, these months are ideal.

Getting Around
For the full Bahamian experience, jump aboard the ‘Jitney’, the public bus that runs throughout Nassau and Great Exuma. This bus will take you to countless island hot spots including Cable Beach for a low fare. You can also travel from one island to the next on an island ferry or traditional Mailboat, and hire a car to discover the island yourself. Bahamians drive on the left, but it’s worth noting that a lot of vehicles show left-side sitting for drivers.
