The Trench Town Culture Yard

No cultural visit to Jamaica would be complete without a visit to the Trench Town Culture Yard. Owned and operated by neighbourhood residents, this is an eye-opening experience of both past and present. A public housing scheme created in the 1940’s, the area soon became home to a world-changing family of musicians, political turmoil and a community spirit like no other. Take a tour and discover the sound of First Street, Kingston.

By night, Jamaica comes alive with a world of places to dance the night away. With the high party atmosphere of the Margaritaville’s, to the many bars and clubs of the Hip Strip. For one of Montego Bay’s most popular night clubs, head to Pier One to learn all of the dancehall moves with bass-heavy music. If you are heading to the Kingston area. Head downtown to the Capricorn Bar for its popular ‘Oldies Night’ with a wealth of nightlife in the area.
