When Is the Best Time to Visit Dominican Republic or St Lucia?

Both destinations have typically Caribbean climates, so you can expect plenty of sunshine and high temperatures all year round.

St Lucia does have distinct dry and wet seasons. The dry season runs from December to May, whereas the wet season runs from June to November, helping to give the island it’s lush vegetation.

Similarly, Dominican Republic also has a wet and a dry season. Here, the dry season runs from December to April, and the wet season from May to November.

That being said, even if you travelled in wet season, the likelihood is you would still see lots of sun and this time of year does tend to be quieter. Just bear in mind that Dominican Republic does experience some hurricanes from time to time.
