The Club Barbados Resort & Spa has long been one of our principle players for Bajan escapes. Its adults-only inclusive philosophy is effortlessly combined with an exclusive seafront location, forging one of the most chilled-out getaways on the island.
We’ve taken to the blogosphere soapbox before to espouse the numerous joys of The Club Barbados, ranging from its savvy location near Oistins Bay to the blissed-out serenity of the resort’s spa. This time we bring you some exciting news. After a brief spell with its doors closed, The Club Barbados will reopen on 01 September 2015 following a serendipitous summer refresh.
Why are we excited? With new routes available for Barbados holidays and loads of reasons to sing the praises of The Club Barbados, a well-earned makeover is sure to see a resurgence in the resort’s undeniable popularity. Not only will The Club Barbados offer quality holidays, they’ll be easy on the eye too. Nothing solidifies great holiday memories like a little wooing for the eyes, fellow Travellers.
Some light refreshment
The cosmetic changes to The Club Barbados will ensure that the underling Zen of the resort is upheld to standards of the modern holidaymaker. You’ll be able to benefit from a range of fully freshened facilities:
All Oceanfront Rooms will be fully refreshed. The Oceanfront Rooms have always been a firm favourite, owing to their French balconies that overlook the Caribbean Sea. If you want to make the beach your second home-away-from-home, the newly revamped Oceanfront Rooms need to be fast-tracked to the top of your holiday wishlist.
All rooms have been repainted and new soft furnishings added. The Club Barbados has just 161 rooms to maintain a genuinely intimate feeling, and a lick of paint combined with some new, plush finishing touches will bring the resort straight into the 21st century.
The pools have been treated to some new furniture. There are 3 refreshing freshwater pools at the The Club Barbados, and the new next-level pool furniture will make chilling out even more stylish.
A new look for Enid
One of the most defining features of The Club Barbados is the fine dining included at Enid’s, where classic Bajan cuisine is served up à la carte. This batch of recent renovations will see Enid’s reinvigorated with a fresher, more polished look. Enid’s has a reputation for serving some of the most delicious dishes in the region, and a new, chic appearance is sure to install the restaurant as one of the island’s paramount eateries.
We’ve tried out the cooking school at the old-look Enid’s for ourselves, and we had a blast! We even took the InFocus film crew along for the ride, so here’s a taste (pun intended) of what’s in store for you:
