Blue Bay HQ Goes Home

We’ve gone remote, but we are still here to help you.

Here at Blue Bay HQ, travel is in our blood. Clocking up hundreds of journeys across the globe between us every year, we are used to adding new stamps to our passport and exploring new and favourite destinations. But our latest trip is somewhat unexpected, we have upped sticks from Blue Bay Towers and gone remote. We have had to keep our team and their families safe, so this meant gradually moving our workforce out of our Staffordshire offices to working remotely. Doing this has allowed us to remain available to help all of our holidaymakers at the high standards that we pride ourselves on whilst adhering to government advice and guidelines around isolation.

Our surroundings may be different but the Blue Bay team spirit is alive and well. We may not be together in the office but we still remain connected and inspired. Now we are all settled in, we thought we would show you how we are getting acquainted.

Roping In Some Extra Hands (Or Paws)

We have all hands on deck to help our holidaymakers and some of the team have even employed their four legged friends to chip in too…

Staying Inspired

Our offices are decorated with destinations that inspire us and keep us in the holiday mood. Some of the team have already taken the time to keep this spirit alive at home too..

Staying Entertained

Whilst some of us have had to adjust to working from home, others had a head start. We already have a dedicated home-working team, Sarah-Jane even works from her home in Tenerife. A master of many trades, Sarah-Jane is also a superstar singer in her spare time and has entertained us at many a staff party. She took the time to put on a Facebook live performance of her greatest hits to keep us all smiling and singing along.

Staying Connected

Group video calls are our new boardroom! We may not be able to see each other in person but we are still taking time to check in with each other and hold key meetings. Not only does this mean that business updates and communications run as normal, but it also lets us have a cheeky look into everyone’s living room (if you are in the same boat and haven’t secretly judged your team-mates choice of decor, you are lying!)

Staying Positive

We know how these unprecedented times have affected each and every one of us in different ways. Our lifestyles, priorities and way of life have all changed and whilst keeping informed and educated with official advice and regulations is crucial, it is also important to take some time to get away from it all. Whether this means finally getting round to the series your mate recommended on Netflix that has been on your list for months, finishing the book you started on last year’s holiday or getting lost in an instagram deep-dive on your dream holiday destinations. We want to add to that opportunity to escape for a little while so will continue to share content on our Facebook, Instagram and Caribbean Warehouse Blog to help bring a bit of fun, positivity and light relief.

Staying In Touch

By going remote we have been able to remain available to help our holidaymakers. We know that in these uncertain times that you may have some questions so we want to make it as easy as possible to reach us or find your answers. Here’s how to get in touch:
