The first to Excellence El Carmen
You may remember that we famously made the first booking in the world for Finest Playa Mujeres, so we’re now two-for-two on the new Excellence Hotels Group properties. The Excellence El Carmen first-bookers are Rob and Lisa Stokes, and they’re both unshakably committed to the outstanding quality that defines the Excellence Hotels Group. We had ourselves a little interview, and here’s what Rob and Lisa had to say on Excellence El Carmen:
What made you want to try Excellence El Carmen, the newest resort from the Excellence Hotels Group?
We have been to Excellence Punta Cana for the past five years. Our first visit was to celebrate our honeymoon. We were immediately taken with the way we were made to feel special. The service we received was second to none. The opening of Excellence El Carmen coincides with both our 50th birthdays so it will be a celebratory visit. All our holidays with the Excellence Hotels Group have been perfect, from the “welcome home” right through our entire stay. Our faith in the Excellence Hotels Group has been fulfilled with each visit. We had no hesitation in booking Excellence El Carmen and we are very much looking forward to it.
Have you been to the Dominican Republic before? What do you like about the Dominican Republic?
We have been holidaying in the Dominican Republic for the last five years. We love the people that have become our friends, the beauty of the country and beaches, and the excellent service we receive from the Excellence Hotels Group.
Have you sampled the Excellence Hotels experience before? What do you love about Excellence Hotels?
Yes, for the past five years we have been going to Excellence Punta Cana. We love the way we are made to feel special and welcome. We like the freedom to dine without making reservations. We like that there is no towel card system for pool towels and there is a no wristband policy. Everything is always kept in pristine condition and the service and staff are a credit to the Excellence Hotels Group.
How are you getting prepared for your Excellence El Carmen holiday?
First we have another Excellence Punta Cana holiday to look forward to. In the meantime we are excitedly looking forward to information and updates on the build in progress.
