Chloe and her other half jetted off to the Dominican Republic where they kick-started their getaway with the rock star beats of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana. With fine food, sun-worshipping hotspots and pools for every occasion, their getaway got off to a fine start.
Ipanema Restaurant
The food at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana is incredible. My favourite restaurant would have to be Ipanema. It’s a meat-lovers heaven. After the initial wooing of the restaurant setting where the open air vibe lets the tropical breeze tickle your face and the stunning ocean view sweeps you off your feet, the meaty goodness takes hold. To begin you head over to the salad bar to select freshly cut salad, sauces, dressing, potatoes, and rice and return to your seat to be waited on hand and foot. Green or red; you decide. You flip the double-sided card on your table to green to ask for more meat and flip it to red when you’re feeling full. Oh, and back to green again if you’re hungry for more. The waiter then delivers various cuts of meats from steak, pork, chicken, beef, and my personal favourite…the lamb. The meat is served piping hot from the skewer, straight to your plate.
What I really loved about Ipanema is the anticipation of what mouth-watering choice was coming next; is it beef, is it chicken? You could have as much or as little as you chose. But it’s so tasty, it’s hard to resist.
Bali Bed Experience
If you’re looking for a rock star experience then head down to the Vacation Planners at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana and reserve one of the Bali Beds using your resort credit. The Bali Beds are found both on the beach and by the pool, so there’s not need to get sand between your toes if you’re not a beach bunny. You can enjoy personal waiter service throughout the day, with drinks and snacks at your disposal whenever you feel. The basic package includes a bottle of premium wine to enjoy whilst lazing in the afternoon sun or you can go all out and upgrade the package to include a bottle of Moet champagne. Which lady doesn’t enjoy a few bubbles while looking out over the azure Caribbean ocean?
Pools for Every Occasion
Where to start! You really are spoilt for choice with pools at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana. With a massive 13 different pools to choose from you could visit a different one each day of your holiday. From the Family Pool where there’s water slides and activities for the under 16s to the adults only Eden Pool with a sophisticated vibe and European style bathing; there really is a pool for everyone at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Punta Cana. My personal favourite was the Drums Pool where rock and pop-rock music is played throughout the day and you can grab a refreshing beverage from the swim up bar. Perfect!
