Luxury Beach Front Suites

• The Luxury Beach Front Suites are the largest rooms and are located in the same building as the Luxury Beach Front Rooms. Designed with a split-level bedroom/sitting area these Suites are furnished with mahogany four-poster king sized beds and superior sleep comfort mattresses. The furniture includes a grand sectional sofa and a wet bar and comfortable vanity. The bathrooms offer a beautiful shower enclosed by frameless glass shower doors as well as an elegant stand-alone claw foot bathtub.
• These suites also offer a mini refrigerator, coffee making facilities and a CD player. Outside on the balcony or terrace is a sitting hammock with great views overlooking the Caribbean Sea.

Beach Front Cottages

• These pretty Cottages are set right on the beach and are decorated with local gingerbread fretwork. Surrounded by lush gardens the cottages offer real privacy with the Caribbean Sea only a few feet away.
• The bedrooms are set on bamboo floors, looking up into cathedral ceilings with ceiling fans. The king size four-poster bed is made of maple whilst the rest of the furniture is rattan with a driftwood finish. There is a chaise lounge, loveseat, bedside tables and a dresser, all from the Laura Ashley collection. Each cottage is equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and a CD player and clock radio.
• The patios are furnished with comfortable steamer chairs and teak coffee tables and chairs with stunning views of the sea. The Beach Front Cottages are a fabulous reminder of the resort’s history.

Luxury Beach Front Rooms

• The Luxury Beach Front Rooms enjoy an enviable location situated in a vine covered three-storey traditional Caribbean building located on the beach front. The bedroom furniture is made from hardwood and there is a large dresser, a desk and Durban side chair, lounge chair and ottoman. The soft furnishings are of soft colours with bright Caribbean accents. Every room is furnished with a mahogany four-poster king sized bed and a superior sleep-comfort mattress. The large bathrooms have a glass block wall, shower, bath and marble vanity unit.
• The rooms are equipped with a mini refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities and a CD player and clock radio. 
• Each room has a private terrace or balcony with a sitting hammock, perfect to laze away the day.

Seaside Suites

• The Seaside Suites are all situated on the ground floor so that you can walk directly from your room onto a private deck that overlooks the seaside pool, the Caribbean Sea and the gardens.
• Each suite is fitted with Italian marble floors throughout and a truly spacious bathroom boasts a double vanity unit and dressing table. The bedroom accommodates a four-poster king sized maple bed, draped with canopies of sheer fabric. To make your stay even better we provide tea and coffee making facilities, a CD player and clock radio.

Verandah Suites

• These spacious suites with sitting areas and large verandahs are located in a two-storey building that overlooks the tropical gardens. All the rooms have fine detailing, hand carved in the traditional Caribbean style. The mahogany king sized four-poster bed is complemented by sumptuous fluffy down cushions whilst the sitting area has an oversized loveseat with accompanying ottoman.
• The suites are well equipped with a mini refrigerator, tea and coffee making facilities, a CD player and clock radio. Ceiling fans circle slowly below painted wood ceilings whilst the top floor rooms have expansive cathedral ceilings. The bathrooms are finished with Spanish marble, frameless glass shower doors and body showers.
• The rooms open onto large 12-foot deep verandahs that are equipped with two steamer chairs with integral footstools as well as a teak coffee table and chairs. Perfect for an evening drink.

Garden View Rooms

• The Garden View Rooms offer sliding doors that lead onto to a terrace and fantastic views of the lush tropical gardens. Their interiors are elegantly decorated with architraves of hand-carved rosettes and finished with marble floors and decorated in lively Caribbean colours. This style is contrasted with furniture of Tan Arbour finish, including a king size four-poster bed, custom made étagère and Durban side chair.
• The bathrooms have both a bath and a shower, marble floors throughout and marble vanity units. The patios and balconies have teak garden furniture from which you can enjoy stunning views across the resort.

Dining

Great food is an essential ingredient at Rendezvous, part of the whole experience. There is nothing more romantic than savouring fine food together. So they have created a selection of bars and restaurants to cater for every taste and every mood. From the formal dining at The Trysting Place to the fun packed informality of the Champagne Bar. You can eat and drink any time of the day or night.

During the day, both breakfast and lunch are served in The Terrace Restaurant and you can choose from a fabulous range of food. Then at night, The Terrace Restaurant turns into a candlelit haven of romance where you can enjoy some of the finest food on the island. If you want to enjoy a fine dining experience then The Trysting Place is open for dinner six nights a week, with a fabulous à la carte menu.

They have three bars to choose from. During the day swim up to the Pool Bar and enjoy a cooling drink, while the Terrace Bar is the centre point for you to mingle, enjoy your favourite cocktail and to sit back and enjoy a drink at almost any time. If you prefer a cooler atmosphere, the air-conditioned Champagne Bar stays lively until the last guest goes to bed!

The Trysting Place

• The Trysting Place is an à la carte restaurant serving the finest foods and the finest wines. The style is characterised by fine bone china, crystal, damask linens and the gentle playing of our resident guitarist. The restaurant is air conditioned to create a perfect ambience in which to enjoy a menu that is a fusion of tastes influenced by the best French and Caribbean flavours. It is open for dinner six nights a week. Menus are subject to change.

The Terrace Bar

• If you are an early riser and sneak out of your room, you will often find a couple of solitary figures sitting on the rattan sofas watching dawn break over the Caribbean. The Terrace bar starts early at Rendezvous and is the hub of all activity. As the early risers leave, people sit and chat after breakfast, giving way to the couples as they start to pop in for a morning coffee. Coffee then gives way to the first drink of the day before lunch and from that point on the bar is never quiet. Afternoon tea is enjoyed and groups of people sit and chat. Pre-dinner drinks are taken and then after your meal, come back, relax and take in a show and taste a rum punch or a local beer. We can mix any drink you want!

The Pool Bar

• Yes it’s a bar by a pool, but the Pool Bar is more than that. Swim up and order your favourite drink; join the group gathered around as they sit in the shade cooled by the water. The Pool Bar is a great gathering spot and new friendships are forged whilst new drinks are created!

The Champagne Bar

• As dinner finishes and the early birds head off to bed, The bar starts to fill up and the sound of laughter and music fills the night air. Simply sit back, enjoy your favourite drink and take in the music, or if you are feeling brave, choose a favourite song and feel free to sing along – no one will judge you, they may just join in!
• The air-conditioned bar stays lively until the last guest goes to bed.

Terrace Restaurant

• The Terrace Restaurant is the culinary heart of the resort. The restaurant is a showcase of international flavours, regional tastes and local produce. Our head chef serves a fantastic selection of foods. At breakfast, you can choose from a staggering selection of locally grown fruits, or if you fancy a cooked breakfast, then you can choose from the buffet. The breakfast chef will happily cook you pretty much anything you want from an omelette to poached eggs, waffles to pancakes.
• At lunchtime, again you can eat from a selection of cold meats, salads, breads and fish, or enjoy a hot meal from the buffet or something special from the chef.
• At nighttime the Terrace Restaurant turns into a magical spot lit by candlelight with just the sound of the Caribbean Sea as a musical backdrop.  We run some themed evenings to present you with a taste of some of the finest foods in the world and we enjoy evenings of locally caught fish, delivered straight from the Caribbean sea that day.

Leisure

It’s your holiday; it’s your agenda. Rendezvous guests always say that they come to Rendezvous on their St. Lucia vacation to unwind, to relax. Then within minutes some are off booking their SCUBA lessons, doing lengths of the pool and jogging on the beach! OK so it's only a few, but the point is relaxation is what you make it. Many guests do go SCUBA diving and use the gym to keep fit, but many like to sit by the pool, read the latest novel and work on their tan whilst sipping their favourite cocktail.

At Rendezvous they never assume that you will want to do everything, but they do offer you an amazing choice of activities from tennis to table tennis, from archery to volleyball. They have a state of the art water sports centre (water skiing, windsurfing and sailing), a First Class PADI Scuba Centre, two pools, a Jacuzzi and for when you are exhausted, really comfortable sun loungers for you to sink into and snooze away a few hours. There are so many things to do at Rendezvous.

For those that need to be really pampered to relax, then they have the beautiful Spa in the Water Garden, where you can have the latest therapies and treatments to calm, rejuvenate and make yourself beautiful.

Scuba

• St. Lucia is as exotic underwater as it is above. Enjoy a new world with the Rendezvous dive team and enjoy a stunning SCUBA diving vacation.
• There is nothing quite like SCUBA diving in St. Lucia. Above sea level it may well be a lush tropical paradise, but below sea level it is a stunning garden of colours, textures, flora and fauna. The deep reds, yellows, greens and browns of fifty types of coral are offset by the deep blue hues of the sea. You will see hundreds of different types of fish and if you are lucky, turtles, lobster, frogfish, eels, sponges, crabs and squid.
• Experience the romantic side of SCUBA diving as a couple and you will enjoy first-hand the wonders of the deep ocean with their team. They will take you to the most remarkable dive sites for a truly spectacular look at St. Lucia's amazing underwater world.
• At Rendezvous however safety is very much a byword. Whether you are a seasoned diver or new to diving, they always make sure that diving is both safe and fun!

Pools

• Although the resort sits on the edge of the Caribbean Sea, they know that sometimes you may fancy a dip in a pool. So they have created more than just pools at Rendezvous, they have created a river.
• As the river meanders and loops through the top end of the resort, it creates isolated pools and tiny secluded islands. These little niches are perfect retreats. Steal away and find yourselves a day bed, dip your toes in the cool water, order a drink, finish your book and while away your time. This is your private space. No one will disturb you except the water waiter who will pop by from time to time to get you a fresh drink.
• If you need to go for a swim in a pool then they have two to choose from. By the Spa in the Water Garden, the pool is calm and quiet. It is restful and guests drop in to cool off. Down by the sea, they have a pool with a swim up bar. This pool and bar is more sociable with people gathering to swim and talk and have a chat over a cocktail or beer. Friendships are made and stories told.

Water Sports

• For guests that like to keep active on their vacation, they offer great choice. As the resort literally sits on the beach, they make good use of the sea. So whether you are a novice or quite advanced they can offer you great equipment and tuition to learn, improve or just play about.
• They have Hobiecats for you to sail up and down Malabar beach. They are really easy to master and in no time you will be sailing like a professional!
• The sea at the resort is great for water skiing and wake boarding. They can give you instruction if you have never done it before or they can applaud loudly if you have!
• The Caribbean is famous for its gentle warm breeze and windsurfing is a must. After a few day’s tuition and loads of practice you will be skipping the waves beautifully.
• If none of this grabs your fancy, then how about swimming amongst the plethora of fish under the waves.

Archery

• Never done archery? Then you are not alone. If you don’t know your recurve bow from your flat bow, don’t worry; most guests don’t either. Over the years archery has become a big hit at Rendezvous with their guests. It is very different, requires patience and a keen eye and most of all it is great fun.
• They have top of the range equipment and great tuition that will have you hitting the bull’s eye in no time.

Golf Clinic

• Swing into action. If you are a would-be Tiger Woods and want a great golf holiday, then they can arrange that. If you need to improve your swing or your short game, then they can book you into their golf clinic that they run every Tuesday and you can end up leaving a better golfer! The great Gary Player once said ‘practice makes permanent’ so their ethos is don’t practice faults.
• You don’t have to bring all your own equipment as they have a range of clubs for you to choose from. However if you want to train, practice and play with your own set of clubs, then do bring them with you.

Bike Tours

• Get on your bike and ride! Three days a week they organise cycling trips to Castries, the island’s capital, so that you can sightsee and take in the atmosphere. They ride as far as Point Seraphine and also take in the sights as The Castries Market. This ride is only 1.5 miles and should take no more than 15 minutes.
• All their excursions are easy cycling and on flat surfaces, accompanied by a team coordinator.

Tennis

• Tennis has always been a real favourite of guests at Rendezvous and although they cannot compete with Flushing Meadows, they do a great job. There is always plenty of competition and impromptu championships take place all the time; you will never be short of an opponent.
• They have two hard courts at the resort and they are maintained to ensure that you get a brilliant playing surface. They can provide rackets and balls but they find that guests tend to bring their own equipment. Although they do not adhere rigidly to a dress code, such as wearing white, they do like guests to wear proper tennis shoes at all times when playing tennis.

Beach Activities

• Some peoples idea of relaxing is to fill every minute of every day! If that is the case then at Rendezvous they can do that for you. Apart from all the water sports, treatments and therapies, they have a selection of beach activities to keep you busy and involved.
• They have beach volleyball, beach cricket and chess for you to enjoy. If you think that these will be sedate affairs, then think again! Every afternoon there is first a lesson then the game. Teams are formed in no particular fashion.
• Located down by the seaside, the games are great fun and are always a social gathering.

Walks and Hikes

• If you don’t fancy getting up to use the gym or joing in a fitness class, then perhaps you will join them for a gentle stroll? Every Tuesday and Friday they set out on a Romantic Sunset Walk along the Beach. This is a leisurely walk that lasts about 45 minutes.
• Every Saturday morning join them for a walk into Castries. It is the bustling capital of the island and rich in history and culture. The walk usually takes about 50 – 60 minutes and is flat.
• Alternatively join them as they walk to the lighthouse on the Vigie peninsula, situated on the north side of the harbor of Castries. The walk is flat and is quite short at 1.5 miles.

Mixology

• Learn to be a mixologist at Rendezvous. The dictionary defines mixology as ‘the study or skill of preparing mixed drinks’. That’s a cocktail to most of us. For years at the resort they have been mixing cocktails for guests from all over the world and they have discovered many new drinks, invented a few and reinvented a few old ones. They know a thing or two about mixology.
• Every evening in The Terrace bar, guests ask for everything from the old favourites such as a Rum Punch right through to the new drinks such as a Russian Standard Ting or a Gypsy Queen.
• Do you fancy learning to be a mixologist?  Mixology at Rendezvous is a competition among guests who are required to create an original cocktail, which is judged by fellow guests. The winning cocktail wins a prize!

Wellness

A key ingredient in any holiday is being able to recharge your batteries. That process is different for most of us. For some guests it means only one thing – pampering! For others it means actually getting to the gym to do some weights or some running, whilst for other groups it means taking part in some classes. Rendezvous can offer you everything from a tailored programme as part of a wellness retreat, to a one-off class.

At Rendezvous they have always believed that the process of recharging is critical for couples. It helps to refocus our minds, it helps us to prioritise what is important in our lives and it helps to put back the much-needed energy that we need to face our daily lives.

Spa

• The Spa in the Water Garden is the jewel in their crown. When they refurbished the resort they wanted to guarantee their guests the best treatments and therapies that they could offer and so they created the Spa in the Water Garden.
• They trained their team at their sister hotel, The BodyHoliday, which has been voted as the best spa in the Caribbean many times and has the world class Wellness Centre and training facility. Rendezvous now offers everything from simple manicures and pedicures right through to Swedish Massage, Deep Remedial Tissue Therapy, Aroma Stone Massage and Hawaiian Lomi Lomi.

Gym

• Toning the body beautiful. Whether you want to maintain your hard earned sculpted physique, want to kick start a new regime or just take the chance to do a little exercise, then the state of the art gym can help.
• It is packed full of all the latest equipment including treadmills, bikes, cross trainers and a large selection of free weights. In an air-conditioned open plan gym you can work out at any time of the day. If you want some instruction then they can help you build a programme that is right for you.

Yoga

• Although the history of yoga stems back to ancient India, Hinduism and Buddhism, the benefits of its practice are as needed in today’s fast paced world as they were then. As your physical and mental wellbeing are important to everyone at Rendezvous, they run yoga holidays, yoga classes and organise private tuition. 
• Yoga is of great benefit both mentally and physically. For the body it promotes flexibility, strength, muscle tone, pain prevention and better breathing. Mentally it has been proved to increase mental calmness, reduce stress and increase your awareness of your own body.
• The overall benefit is immense and whether you are a first timer or a regular, they will welcome you.

Yoga Courses Available

• Yoga is practiced in many ways all around the world and at Rendezvous they offer a morning yoga class and a sunset yoga class for everyone. They offer basic yoga classes.

Pilates

• Over the last few years, Pilates has been a revolution in the wellness market and has taken the USA and Europe by storm. There is a good reason for that.  This unique activity is an excellent way of toning and trimming and suits all levels of fitness and age. The basis of Pilates is to control your body alignment and correct your breathing through concentration. The effects deliver a more efficient exercise coupled with reduced repetition.
• Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, in Germany in 1883. He developed a system of exercises that were intended to strengthen the human mind and body. He believed that mental and physical health are inter-related.

Pilates courses available

• At Rendezvous they run Pilates classes regularly and they would welcome you however experienced you are to join them.
• They run Pilates as a group session and these can accommodate either the novice or the more advanced student. They aim to run sessions that stabilise and strengthen the stomach, back and buttock muscles, improve core strength, posture, co-ordination and more.

Tai Chi

• Like yoga, Tai Chi is an ancient method of wellbeing that works at both a physical and mental level. Chinese in its origin it is a form of co-ordinated body movements focusing on the cultivation of internal energy 'chi'. The aim is to harmonise the mind, body and spirit, promoting both mental and physical wellbeing through relaxation.
• They run classes at Rendezvous to make you feel revitalised, relaxed and healthier in both mind and body. Unlike many forms of exercise and sport, Tai Chi does not rely on strength, force or speed, making it ideal for everyone, young and old alike. 
• If you are looking to try something new, then do join them for a class.

Fitness Classes

• If you fancy burning off a few calories and getting some exercise in, then they run a series of fitness classes that will suit all tastes and abilities. They employ fully qualified instructors to run the sessions and the classes are held most days in the resort.
• Their Tone & Stretch class is designed to increase your flexibility and suppleness. Using modern techniques and equipment, they run the class in the gym area.
• The Aqua Aerobics sessions are held in the pool in the Water Garden and are open to all. These sessions are great fun as well as being great exercise
• Cardio Circuit is a class designed to increase your cardiovascular capacity and increase your strength or muscle tone. This session is a great work out.
• If you want to get fit and learn something new, then try the Limbo and Calypso Dance class. Using dances from the Caribbean, they will teach you a few new steps and help you get fit at the same time!

• The 30-minute video is a great memory of your stay and also your trip to St. Lucia. It is edited to your tastes and they also include extra footage of the island and the resort. The video package can be shot in both European and US formats.

• What better way than to be serenaded by a guitar or saxophone? As you make your way to the wedding arch, your own personal choice of music can be played and then at convenient times during the ceremony, you can be serenaded. Then when it is time to celebrate, you get the chance to dance, relax and enjoy the music.

Steel band

• A steel band is surely the sound of the Caribbean. Imagine walking down the path by the sea to the wedding arch to the pulsating rhythm of a calypso song. Or later, when the formalities are over, you can dance on the beach or even have a go at playing yourselves. A great Caribbean tradition!

Hairdresser

• Being pampered is half the fun of your wedding day. We can arrange for a professional hairdresser to be booked for your wedding day to do your hair to make you look absolutely perfect for your vows.

Cakes

• It wouldn’t be a wedding without a cake! If you would like vanilla or chocolate sponge then that can be arranged. If your tastes are more traditional then they can bake a fruitcake for you. Do you want one, two or three tiers? No matter, just let us know and they can bake it for you.

Flowers

• Flowers really make a wedding day look perfect. At Rendezvous they like to go the extra mile and they can arrange not just a pretty floral bouquet but they can also organise buttonholes for the groom and best man and they can arrange flowers in your room, on the path to the wedding arch and at the table at your wedding reception.

Bubbles

• Do you fancy some fun on your wedding day? How about some bubbles throughout the ceremony and at the reception, swirling in the breeze and floating around the resort? As we say – nothing is too much trouble!
