A bit about Hanover
Right on the western tip of Jamaica, the parish of Hanover rolls before the Caribbean Sea, ranging from mountainous terrain to coastlines pocketed with bays and beaches. Lucea, the parish capital, is home to Fort Charlotte, an eighteenth century Georgian barracks synonymous with the colonial identity of Jamaica. Rural, beautiful and peaceful, Hanover is far enough from the beaten track of tourism to offer more tranquil escapes to the island.
