Frigate Bay holidays offer a wonderful balance of laid-back Caribbean beach days and a little more life after sunset. Located on the southern coast of St Kitts, this popular resort area is known for its beautiful beaches, welcoming atmosphere and excellent choice of places to eat and drink. Whether you're planning a romantic escape, a relaxing break in the sunshine or a holiday with plenty to explore, Frigate Bay makes a fantastic base.

One of Frigate Bay's biggest attractions is its two very different coastlines. On the Caribbean side, South Frigate Bay offers a sandy beach, inviting waters and a lively collection of beachfront bars and restaurants known as The Strip. Over on the Atlantic side, North Frigate Bay has a more open, breezy setting, with scenic coastal views and a quieter atmosphere. It's easy to find a favourite spot depending on how you want to spend your day.

There's plenty to enjoy beyond the beach, too. Frigate Bay is just a short journey from Basseterre, the island's capital, where colourful streets, local markets and historic landmarks offer a glimpse into everyday life on St Kitts. You can also explore the island's rainforest-covered mountains, discover the impressive Brimstone Hill Fortress or head towards the Southeast Peninsula for beautiful coastal scenery and quieter beaches.

Frigate Bay is particularly appealing if you like having a choice of activities close to your hotel. Spend the morning beside the pool, enjoy an afternoon exploring the island and finish the day with dinner overlooking the Caribbean Sea. From relaxed beach bars to more refined resort dining, there's something to suit different tastes, making the area a great option for couples, families and groups alike.
