Located at the front of the ship on the highest deck, Le Panoramique offers stunning 180° view across the bow of the ship. The ideal place to while away the hours on a sea day enjoying the scenery from one of the best seats in the house. Come the evening, the atmosphere changes and you can dance until late with our live band and DJ.

Ocean Bar

Overlooking the Grand Foyer, the Ocean Bar is the perfect place to enjoy a drink alongside the melodies of our resident band and musicians. Enjoy a cocktail, wine or beer from our specially crafted drinks menu, prepared by one of our expert bartenders. Are gratuities included in my cruise fare?

Ambassador operate an automatic service charge and gratuity system, which is added directly to your onboard account. A charge of £7 per person, per night applies. For children aged 12–17 years, a reduced rate of £4 per person, per night will be charged. Guests under 12 are not subject to any gratuity charges.

These contributions are shared fairly among the crew members who work hard to make your cruise enjoyable - from housekeeping and dining to behind-the-scenes teams.

If you have any concerns about the service you've received, please speak to the Guest Services Team onboard who will do their best to address any issues before any changes to the charges are considered.

If you wish to personally recognise a crew member for outstanding service, you're welcome to do so.

If you add on an Ambassador Drinks Package, please note that gratuities are already included in the package price. These built-in gratuities are not removable.

What is the dress code on board?

The daytime dress code is relaxed and informal - casual clothing is perfectly suitable both on board and ashore. We do recommend bringing comfortable footwear and being mindful of local customs when visiting religious sites or culturally sensitive destinations. Onboard staff will advise you when specific attire is recommended.

Each evening, the Daily Programme will guide you on the suggested dress code for the night’s events. Most cruises feature two ‘Formal’ or Ambassador Nights, when guests often choose to dress up. A dinner jacket or lounge suit is typical for gentlemen, while ladies usually wear evening or cocktail dresses.

On ‘Smart’ evenings, Ambassador recommend a suit or smart jacket and trousers (tie optional) for men. Women may opt for cocktail dresses, elegant trouser suits, or coordinated outfits.

‘Casual’ evenings, often when in port or holding a special event like a deck party, allow for more relaxed attire, with no set dress expectations. Feel free to wear what makes you comfortable.
